STREP

Streptococcus is a bacterial infection that is also commonly connected with symptoms of mononucleosis and EBV. Strep infections lead to conditions such as:
- Strep Throat
- Scarlet Fever - a red rash on the body
- Impetigo - skin infection
- Toxic Shock syndrome
Strep is invasive and can multiply rapidly within the body. I have seen many patients that have chronic fatigue tell me that it all started when they contracted strep throat. Yes antibiotics do kill the strep in the blood, but the bacteria can hide in different tissues that can “incubate” their replication.
Strep loves the tonsils, liver, thyroid, salivary glands, and sinuses. It can hide in different areas such as:
- Biofilm - a sludge created by bacteria, mold, parasites, etc. which the infection can burrow into, to avoid detection by antibodies
- Sinuses- warm, full of blood and gives the bacteria a perfect breeding ground to replicate.
Streptococcus has a reputation of adapting to stressful environments and manipulating its structure to avoid recognition from antibiotics. They are smart and research has shown that they can adapt to antibiotics and change physical shape to infect human tissue at a very deep level. I have seen patients that have experienced strep symptoms many years after they believed they killed it off.
Additional signs of Strep that I see:
- Numb face
- Numb tongue
- Twitching eyes
- Sore, swollen neck
- Tingling, numb arms
- Itching scalp
This bacteria can injure nerves and spinal discs if it stays too long in that particular tissue. NEUROPATHY is a big symptom of strep in my opinion.
There are many forms of Strep, but get a regular throat swab to get it checked and see if you have any of the forms of this bacteria.
My trifecta for bacterial infections:
- Vitamin D with K(sometimes if Vitamin A and E are mixed with that, makes a great combo)
- Vitamin C
- Colloidal silver
