Emotions and the Stomach, Spleen and Pancreas
The stomach, spleen and pancreas are organs that break down our foods so that the nutrients within them can be absorbed. The main function of the stomach acid is to accomplish two things:
- Food breakdown - Proteins, Carbs, and Fats
- Kill any microbes within the food
When foods cannot be broken down properly within the stomach, it will produce:
- BLOATING
- bags under eyes and puffy cheeks
- eye gunk
- gas
- abdominal distention
- a "gross feeling”
- pain or tenderness right under the sternum, left side of abdomen under the rib cage
The Emotions that can be produced from this:
- Low Self-Esteem
- Disgust with your image
- Lack of Control or overwhelmed with everything!
- Hopelessness
- Worried
- Over Concern
