Coffee and Peace
Coffee and Peace: The Spiritual Side of Java
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is your coffee time a spiritual practice? ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make it part of your morning meditation. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always encourage my patients to take any practice or activity and create a meditation out of it, if possible :)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Coffee for many is just a means of getting a caffeine jolt to sharpen your senses. ⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Coffee becomes spiritual and mindful when we focus on the coffee itself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For many, drinking coffee or tea pulls the body and mind into being present because it is happening now and bringing you peace. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t make your morning coffee a rush. Make it a practice to stop and appreciate the cup. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
